Interview with CONJURING THE DEAD Director Andrew Jones {0}
He’s been called “the Welsh Roger Corman”, “the Welsh Charles Band” – and a lot worse. Over the past decade, Andrew Jones has written, produced and/or directed a dozen films, including Night of the Living Dead: Resurrection, The Amityville Asylum and Poltergeist Activity, and two more are due out before the end of August: Conjuring the Dead (formerly known as Valley of the Witch) and ‘killer doll’ movie Robert. A further two (The Exorcism of Anna Ecklund and Kill Kane) are already in the can, and he starts shooting A Study in Red: The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper starts shooting in September. How the hell does he do it?

It’s that time of year again! Yes, time to sit down and sift through 70+ FrightFest selections and decide, based solely on title, premise, cast, and key crew members, which films you want to see. It’s a pretty daunting task. But we’re here to help on a few of the films we’ve already seen.
